DESCRIPTION
Meet Saint Panteleimon, the Great Martyr and Holy Healer, who devoted his medical skills to the service of Christ and the poor. Though a trained physician in the Roman Empire, he became a healer of both body and soul through his unwavering Christian faith and miraculous works.
Tortured and martyred during the reign of Emperor Maximian, Saint Panteleimon remains one of the most beloved saints in both the Eastern Orthodox and Catholic Churches. He is especially honored as a patron of doctors, nurses, and the sick. 🕊️ May his life inspire us to offer our gifts in service of Christ and others.
